Dog Notes & Tips
- Dogs are fast, and often fight in packs. They have heightened perception, becoming alert if the player is nearby even with the Latent Skills Suppress Presence and Suppress Sound.
- Dogs are frail and will die in one or two hits.
- Dogs cannot block the player's attacks, but are agile and can dodge incoming strikes.
- Shinobi Firecracker is highly effective against them; will stun them for quite a period of time, and making them vulnerable to deathblows.
- If their attack is deflected it will immediately break their posture, making them vulnerable to a deathblow.
- Any Shuriken-type Prosthetic Tool will instantly kill any dog type enemy.

Hands down the easiest dog enemy of any From game. Has 1 hp so Shuriken blast them but even that feels like overkill. Just stab the puppers.
The ninja hounds (those that wears a head band/guard) can withstand a non-charged gouging top.

Lmao whenever I fight that one Lone Shadow on the roof, this dog always gets the short of of the stick. Either gets kicked off the roof or he's blown off out into oblivion because he get's caught in the crossfire of swords clashing.
