A miraculous drug capable of banishing lightning offered at the Ashina Clan altar.

Greatly reduces the amount of damage received from lightning attacks, as well as the "Shock" status abnormality. Lightning is a force of the gods. Eels, while small, are relatives of dragons.

Even a god's force can be suppressed, though probably not for long.

Eel Liver is a Quick Item in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. It is a consumable item used to reduce lightning and Shock damage.

 

 

 Eel Liver Usage

  • Consume this item to gain massively increased resistance to lightning and Shock damage.
  • Raises resistance to Shock and Lightning Damage for 30 seconds.

 

 

How to Find Eel Liver

Unlimited available for purchase from Fujioka the Info Broker at the Dilapidated TempleAnayama the Peddler at Ashina Outskirts, and the Memorial Mobs for 50 sen each after defeating Corrupted Monk at the Fountainhead Palace and receiving the Dragon's Tally Board.

Before unlocking unlimited livers, you can find them at:

  • Small chance to drop from Mist Naginata in Fountainhead Palace.
  • Small chance to drop from Monkeys.
  • Found in Upper Tower Dojo area, near Ashina Elite - Jinusuke Saze
  • Ashina Castle- Dropping down the hole in this area allows you to open the main gate of the castle the item would be there.
  • Ashina Castle- After encountering the three feathered enemies, the next room ahead will contain the item,
  • Ashina Castle- In the room where you defeat Ashina Elite - Junsuze Saze, the item would be inside.
  • Ashina Castle- As go back to Upper Tower - Antechamber Idol and find this room patrolled by 1x old woman and 1x blue samurai. Dropping down the hole in this area allows you to open the main gate of the castle (leading to Ashina Castle Idol), and pick up the item. The path to the Old Grave Idol.
  • Ashina Castle Revisited- After going through  Senpou Temple, Mt. Kongo  on the way back revisiting.
  • Sunken Valley - After jumping off the cliff and grappling twice on a platform before reaching the Under-Shrine Idol.
  • Fountainhead Palace - right after passing the building with a flute player and beasts in the large courtyard, nearby the bridge 2 can be found that is being guarded by 3 beasts.
  • Fountainhead Palace - 1 can be found inside the building of the noble courtyard where it is behind a sitting masked enemy.
  • Fountainhead Palace - after defeating the Shichimen Warrior, explore the nearby waterfall where 1 can be obtained.

      it would be nice is eel livers could negate the little bit of damage you receive when using lightning reversal. it would make them actually worth using if you're trying to no-damage run Sword Saint

        Mentions 4 locations in Fountainhead Palace. Lol by then they are already unlocked.

          So an item that is needed to fight Genichiro's 3rd phase, else getting 1 shot killed every time has no way to purchase them so once they're gone they're gone? Stupid!
