A loaded Axe with an attached percussion hammer to create flame. Costs Spirit Emblems to use. Metes out attacks bathed in flame from the axe's blade. Hitting the sparking percussion hammer causes a violent eruption of flames and increases the effective area of the attack. This is both firearm and heavy axe.

Sparking Axe is a Prosthetic Tool in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, equipped via the Prosthetic Arm and which can be used alongside the primary weapon, the Kusabimaru, in the other, biological, hand.

These Tools, varying from the Loaded Shuriken to the Shinobi Firecracker, are equipped via the Prosthetic Arm and can be swapped out on the fly, allowing for creative and innovative  solutions to the many exploratory challenges the player may face.

Sparking Axe Notes & TIps

• Patch 1.03 reduced the spirit emblem cost from 3 to 2.
• This prosthetic tool is particularly useful against bosses with higher vulnerability to posture and fire damage, e.g. the Chained Ogre
• Damage from swing attacks and overhead ender stays the same; each swing attack inflicts 1.3x burn status points, heavy ender - 2.7x (relatively to one Living Force attack).
