Outfits for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a new feature that has been added along with other new content in the Sekiro Free Update on October 29, 2020. Outfits are cosmetic items that change the appearance or clothes of Sekiro, changing Sekiro's outfit does not add buffs or changes to Sekiro's stats. There are three outfits that players can obtain through completing the Gauntlets of Strength and by beating the game once. This page covers a list of the different outfits in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

Changing Outfits

Outfits are added to the Free Update, Patch 1.05. In order to change Sekiro's outfit, interact with a Sculptor's Idol, and select "Change Form". Here, you'll see the outfits that you've unlocked and you'll also be able to choose which outfit you'd like to change into.

Love all the outfits. Wish there had been more and had interchangeable articles of clothing/armor like bloodborne and souls. I love mixing and matching.

Gauntlet of Strength: Shura should have consisted of bosses available doing the Shura ending. I mean it only makes sense, right?

Do these show on Wolf during the cutscenes?
I bet the Ashina skin would look sick during the cutscene before Genichiro’s fight atop the castle.

Welp, all that progress I made to get every single costume unlocked in the game… only to die & get Dragonrot (mind you, I killed Emma because the Shura costume was the last one I needed) by random ****ing bullshit! Deleted my playthrough, played a new one hoping I’d get them back, but no! This pisses me the **** off! Nothing I can ****ing do about it now! I’m ****ing OVER IT!!!!!

I wish I was good enough at the boss rushes to unloc- w-wait I mean I like Sekiro's default outfit the best a-anyway! Baka!

All 3 outfits look great, but it sucks that they don't carry over to NGs, I mean, I can do the gauntlets again no problem, but I would've preferred if they carried over.

I don’t know why people complain about outfits not caring to new game, I mean games few years ago was like that, same thing goes to dk2 invisible ring, they don’t carry to new games but well. People theses days only complain and don’t get satisfied with contents they have.

I was so exited when the update came out, but I quickly put the game back down out of boredom....Makes me sad that Sekiro is the weakest souls game

just use a mods if you really wanna play new save with a different look.. this is a free DLC/Update.. kinda amazed that they even made this. Now let's all wait for Elden Ring.. ooooooh ELDEN RIIIING! "if only you could imagine...."

Are you able to take the hood off for the Ashen outfit? I like everything but I'm just not wild on the hood personally

No such thing as free, you paid for this update when you bought the game. If the game hadn't had succes you think they would've made this update? No. And while I did enjoy it, I can understands why others didn't and most of the complaints/criticisms I've seen seem plenty valid. I mean most of them are "I wanted more" I bet most people saying that wouldn't mind paying for dlc.

What do they mean by "Obtained as a reward for finishing the game once", i finished one ending and i started i newgame, in that newgame i dont have Ashina outfit

Maybe I'm a no-lifer but I got all achievements on this game, and recently finished all boss rush modes. (Yes even the Mortal Journey.) All on NG+4. And I can't help but think this update is great, but lacking. I was hoping for more complexity in boss fights, the new mixups on Inner Isshin and Genichiro were great and caught me off guard, and the Inner Father mist raven combo is fantastic. I was really hoping for a more difficult verion of EVERY boss, they are the 'Gauntlet of Strength' and shouldn't be normalcy until the very last, maybe I'm asking too much but I love this game and needed so much more.

And on another note it genuinely makes me sad that there was no super special award for beating the Mortal Journey, I know it told me there was none, but still, I wanted one.

People defending this update are not the same people who have 30 outfits in game in ds, ds2, bloodborne, demons souls

I like how people are freaking out because FS added what basically is a hardcore mode for most players/journalists.a game that you actually need to spend time to gain the skill you need to beat this game.no more boss ganking with friends.one guy in this comment section said it's pathetic.well...its free and knowing FS,they'll add more and maybe sekiro 2 because it's such a good game.skins are a reward for beating the gauntlets and it's worth it but I guess he wants a move that one shots or something and maybe he wants a single player game to be multiplayer evendough it's not meant to be.who knows wtf people think.play it or not but not complain like a beach*
You knew what you were getting into when you decided to give Miyazaki your money lmao
Btw...I'm not a master at this game.i die a lot but I love it.its been a while since I played something challenging.BB chalices were the best idea imo and I wished FS would add some new maps and all for those gauntlets in sekiro but oh well...it's FREE.stop complaining.

What do i need to do to get the shura outfit? I'm ng3 and i already did the shura ending and the normal one

                                      • Anonymous

I have to beat the game once to get outfits. Why not have the skins unlocked to a new game normal for the one who already unlocked? Like the kuro charm
