Isshin's Letter Notes & Tips

  • Appears to only exist to give the player additional insight into Isshin and Emma's connection (and Isshin's activities as the Tengu of Ashina). Cannot be given to Emma and her dialogue does not change after acquiring it.

Can confirm that this note is used to direct the players who missed the first Tengu encounter back to him. If you don't talk to him after beating Gyoubu, then pick up this note, beat Genichiro, and talk to Emma after Kuro asks you to talk to Isshin, Sekiro tells her that Isshin was not in his tower and she specifically tells him to look in the big tower near the battlefield. Pretty sure Isshin won't appear until you talk to Tengu.
