Young Lord's Bell Charm

young lord s bell charm

A bell charm received from an old woman, who asked that it be offered to Buddha.

Bell charms protect their holders through Buddha's divine protection. If one finds themselves the owner of another's bell charm, offering it to Buddha on their behalf is common courtesy.

As for the lore involving FromSoftware games using bells, there is also the massive bell that summons Nameless King in DS3. Considering Archdragon Peak is a place you reach by praying, I’d imagine there is a connection to what was mentioned here.

"Inosuke's crazed mother, an NPC likely designed after Bloodborne's Chime Maiden Bell-Ringing Woman"- is there a citation for this? Because I don't think there's any relation or hints that she is similar in any way, shape or form to the Bell Maidens from Bloodborne at all. Who put this?

The bell seems to be unobtainable after getting Divine Dragon’s Tears as inosuke and his mother will be dead. The bell does not appear in the offering box by Hanbei the undying so I’m not sure if you can get the bell at all. I’m on NG+2 so I don’t know if this affects a first play through or not.

Should you clear Hirata estates as soon as you get it? Im stuck at the spear guy, and i'm thinking about just progressing the main route.
