Yashariku's Spiritfall (夜叉戮の御霊降ろし, Fallen Spirit of Yashariku) is a Quick Item in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. It is used to briefly sacrifice Vitality and Posture while gaining a large Attack Power boost.
Yashariku's Spiritfall Usage
- Halves max Vitality and Posture, while granting a large Attack Power Boost of 25% to vitality damage (double that of Ako's Sugar) and 50% to posture damage for 30 seconds.
- This is increased to 45 seconds with the Devotion skill.
- Consumes 3 Spirit Emblems on use. The item is not consumed upon use.
- Note that you can only gain the benefit of ONE Sugar/Spiritfall at a time. Using a different Sugar will simply overwrite the current one.
How to Find Yashariku's Spiritfall
- Fountainhead Palace - dropped by the Headless underwater. Note that there are two Headless during this fight; possibly a reference to Yashariku's twin who "was lost in utero" according to the item description.
Yashariku's Spiritfall Notes & Tips
- Provides a risk/reward playstyle, but makes the players one-hittable by most enemy attacks.
- Has a shorter duration than the candy, making the Spiritfall more of a backup than a replacement for the Sugar.
- Patch 1.03 reduced the Spirit Emblem cost from 4 to 3 and increased the duration to match that of Yashariku's Sugar.
- Works well with Ceremonial Tanto since the vitality cost for the tanto doesn't matter when you use this spiritfall or the sugar.

I like using this in combination with the ceremonial tanto, since it halves your health anyways, negating any se/health costs from using this spiritfall. If used on stunned bosses with this buff, empowered mortal draw/dragon flash can do a ton of damage very quickly.

The only actually good use I've found for this is when trying to cheese a health bar off Demon of Hatred with the whistle. Goes a long way of helping you do enough damage to phase him within the 3 stuns.
I would say that this is the only spiritfall I'd rather eat the emblem cost in a fight that simply farm up some monks with the bell active, yashiruku candies are much harder to get in decent numbers normally and there's only so many per NG+ as far as i know. Which generally results in you running out very quickly if you try to make them a mainstay of your playstyle. All the other candies can be acquired in large numbers for minimal effort which makes them way less valuable in a fight than enough spirit emblems to pull off a combat art or use a tool.
