This skill alone will save you so many gourd and pellet uses while going through levels. Absolutely get this, it's one of the must-haves IMO alongisde Mikiri Counter, Ascending Carp, Descending Carp, and Flowing Water - all of them will make the general combat flow much more forgiving than without any of them.

Even during boss fights this can come in clutch since it's a guaranteed heal per execution that triggers automatically.

I am reading this as, when I deathblow an enemy, I get a boost to the vitality bar. But I am getting no boost, even after several deathblows. Maybe I'm missing something. Anyone?

Legit one of the best skills to get early on! After I get mikiri counter I put points in the previous skills (whirlwind, karma body) then after Gyobu you can farm the 3 rats (lil guys with hats) to get fast xp + gold so u can buy the skill and get 1000 gold to buy the vendor gourd seed. The game feels much nicer to explore with getting heals via deathblows. Highly recommend this route for ppl just starting this game.

Needs to be edited because A Shinobi's Karma: Body is required for all 3 skills ahead of it and I imagine its the same on the bottom tree.
