Seriously get all the ashina passive skills the moment you can. If you reached the drunkard or Lady Butterfly, turn back , kill Genichiro and get these passives first. There the most valuable passive skills in the game. Passive skills with a dose of git gud are what make Sekiro dangerous not techniques. Don't bother with any "moves" or extra special attacks etc beyond those required by the skill tree until your truly out of skill points to spend on passive stats.
