Mid-air Combat Arts is a skill in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, this type of skill is a Shinobi Martial Arts Skill that is under the Shinobi Arts Skill Tree. Each Skill Tree consists of a variety of skills that are categorized as Combat Arts, Shinobi Martial Arts, and Latent Skills that will allow players to alter and customize Sekiro's overall effectiveness in combat and survivability.

These skills can be unlocked by spending gained Skill Points at a Sculptor's Idol.



 Acquires the Shinobi Martial Art "Mid-air Combat Arts".

Allows one to perform Combat Arts while in mid-air.

Allows one to use combat arts after jumping to close with an enemy, or immediately after jumping a sweep attack.

  • Mid-air Combat Arts is a Shinobi Martial Arts Skill
  • Combat Arts such as Whirlwind Slash can be used while in mid-air
  • The Mortal draw combat art gets increased range and damage if done mid-air using this technique. Likely it's because the first attack of the combat art is counted as the empowered one,this also works is you haven't purchased the empowered mortal draw from mushin tree. (Only the first slash is empowered because the second one is done on the ground no matter how high the jump was)

      For anyone reading in 2022, this skill + regular mortal draw is bugged. Midair mortal draw does empowered mortal draw damage for the regular cost.

        This is by far the most pointless waste of skill points. It is exactly as useless as it sounds. Never once have I felt the necessity to do a combat art while jumping.

          Best use of this for me is Ichimonchi double after jumping out of a sweep attack. the kick + this does MASSIVE posture damage

            Just like in the image on this page, in my game this skill is not possible to purchase, even though the two skills leading to it have been purchased and 5 skill points are collected. Can someone explain why?
