Grappling Hook Attack is a skill in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, this type of skill is a Shinobi Martial Arts Skill that is under the Prosthetic Arts Skill Tree. Each Skill Tree consists of a variety of skills that are categorized as Combat Arts, Shinobi Martial Arts, and Latent Skills that will allow players to alter and customize Sekiro's overall effectiveness in combat and survivability.

These skills can be unlocked by spending gained Skill Points at a Sculptor's Idol.

 

 

 Acquires "Grappling Hook Attack" Shinobi Martial Art.

Uses the Grappling Hook to launch oneself at an enemy, and use that momentum to perform a rolling sword attack

  • This can be found under the Prosthetic Arts Skill Tree and is unlocked by resting at a Sculptor's Idol.

      Very useful against GYOUBU MASATAKA ONIWA when he tries to do the whiplash spiral attack,or the chained ogre

        You can also use it on enemies standing near the graple points. It is pretty effective against riflemans.

          This skill seems to only shine in the early game with bosses like the chained ogre and that dude who rides a horse, where they have common and easy to exploit openings after certain attacks. Not really effective but a necessary skill to get for other progress. Basically lets you get two weak hits in when you would use the grapple to close the gap anyway.

            You need a grappling point to use this attack. I think what's misleading is there was a part of the trailer he used this to attack someone riding a horse
